THE amazing TEMPLES & RUINS of HAMPI
After spending the first 10 days with lazy time like boat cruise, city sightseeing and biking through tea plantations, I was super excited to see the temples and ruins of Hampi that India is so famous for.
Hampi itself is super small (size of a football field), the houses are just 2 floors high and the streets are narrow and muddy. When we walked through the streets to find our hotel - I thought were the hack shall we sleep here as it looked totally like a muddy and stinky village in the beginning to me. "That is the real India!"
Well, after a shower and a good breakfast we both quickly adjusted and we were keen on discovering the ruins.
I actually don't want to write a lot about Hampi as the pictures will tell the story. Just wanna say this: I loved Hampi and I would recommend this to anyone who will travel to India.
.....walking around the amazing ruins
...... climbing on these giant stone formations
......just stunning
Enjoy the photos xoxo (click to enlarge)
