The end & the beginning of a new chapter
Today we’re both flying back home to our families and although I think we both already have nostalgia of our travels, we are very excited to meet our beloved ones back home.
What we did was something everybody should do at least once in a lifetime. No time spent travelling is wasted time; it can only enrich someone’s life. I’m so grateful to Andy for somehow managing to convince the control freak in me to take what I thought was a risk, and travel for 9 months instead of starting my MBA straight away.
I definitely think I am more ready now. I have so much more perspective on different cultures and different lifestyles and standards, that I think I could spend hours debating about it. But one the biggest learning from this trip, at least for me, was that ,at the end of the day ,it is people who change our lives and make us feel “something”.
All the countries where we travelled and had friends were a great experience, we had so many laughs with the boobs Gang and they were by far the most friendly and awesome crew we’ve encountered in our travels.
Likewise, all the countries where we’ve been smiled at straight away were an highlight in our trip. We cherished so much being able to have random and super interesting conversations with strangers who were just genuinely interested in our experience...pure curiosity is one of the most authentic and delightful characteristic of a human being. Without these people we would have still appreciated the beautiful landscapes architecture and colours of all the countries we visited, but there would have been something missing!
So dear friends & readers & beloved ones, thanks for following our journey until now and if we can give a piece of traveller advice to you that is:
Do It! You will never have regrets!
