Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida & Bali

We took a holiday from the holiday. I remember teasing Flo last year when he told us "travelling can be exhausting" and we were both in the middle of our busy lives in Shanghai.

But what can I say, he was right after all. After a few months of hopping from one place to the other and eating out and taking countless night buses and trains, I think we were really ready for a chillax holiday in Indonesia. We spent 4 weeks in Indonesia split between Nusa Lembongan and Bali with a short trip to Nusa Penida.

Everything turned out to be quite perfect I´d say, the other half of the Hafner family with the cutest latest addiction kept us entertained pretty much at all times, the boys (Andy's best friend Valentin came over for almost 4 weeks) went surfing every day, we met a really nice bunch of people (Brooke, Marta, Ilko, Synthia and Fedde) at Suka Beach and played games and had good laughs.

And I got to do my boxing camp while Andy experienced the brutality of crossfit.

January was a month for friends, family, new sports and lots of beautiful landscapes & tasty food. Although we took a holiday from our travel I don't feel this is a month where we missed out on anything but rather a month where we were enriched by many people and regained a good physical shape to continue onto the next chapter of our explorations!Xoxo enjoy the photos and don't laugh!
