OZ Time with Adam & Candice, hey

OH Australia...

Sitting on Adam & Candice's deck and taking in the late afternoon sun & breeze...with the stunning view just behind my shoulders.

These people have a nice lifestyle. I now understand all the stories about the beauty of Australia. I mean if this is Sydney, I can only imagine what other more remote places would be like... These were my first thoughts when we arrived A&C's cute flat in Dee Why. We had a really chill & relaxing time with those two, with a lot of of cooking and nanny naps on the super comfy sofa in the living room. Walking around Dee Why (or more to say driving) you have to feeling to be into a surf movie, everybody is tanned and fit and there's a huge variety of activities to choose from. New gym concepts, yoga, Saturday charity runs, beach volleyball and of course surfing at pretty much every beach.

On our second day we took the chance to do the Manly scenic walk which goes from the harbour to The Spit beach and this was just STUNNING. The views over the ocean were breathtaking and the weather was so perfect the water couldn't have been of more beautiful colours. Soooooo pretty. But this was only the beginning of our Australia journey as we then went to a 4 days camping trip towards the North in crescent head and this was really incredible. Kilometres of almost untouched beaches with perfect surfing waves, I think that's the best description for it. We spent some really lovely days up there with the guys surfing and the girls "trying to surf". The drive up there is about 5 hours without stops but really worth the time..

Both Andy & I were kind of sad about leaving A&C's lovely flat as it really felt homie and we had some good quality time with Adam & Candice..it was good to stop in Australia!!! Maybe see you again in a couple of years...
